You may need the evaporator cleaned. Mould and Bacteria can build up over time, and can cause respiratory problems from these, coming into the car interior.

Technical stuff:-

Most modern cars may use one of two types of refrigerant, (Cooling Gas), R1234YF and R134A. The cost of the gas varies, with the R1234YF being much more expensive for the recharge of it. Only the gas designated for use with your car can be used. R134A is used in older vehicles, (Up to 2014). It was gradually phased out by 2016. The Newer Gas is more environmentally friendly.

The process of Re-changing the Gas, is very straight forward. It includes taking out the old gas and oil from your car’s Air Con system and replacing it with new gas and oil. It is also checked with a vacuum test to ensure all pipes are leak free. The process takes about an Hour, but could be done as part of your service.
